Our main objective is to support and empower women from local communities and to present Palestinian culture. Our work is divided in several facilities. First of all, Wujoud is a museum and a Cultural Center that exhibits Palestinian history from the 19th and 20th century. We welcome visitors with hospitality and offer brunches, lunches and dinners (upon request). Besides the museum, and in cooperation with local women, we run the Bint Al-Balad deli/cafe that offers meals for visitors and locals. Furthermore, the Melia Art and Training Center is dedicated to preserve the traditional Palestinian embroidery. In parallel it helps the women who work in the Center to generate income for themselves and their families. Last but not least, we offer art workshops for ceramics, painting on glass and jewelry (traditional and non -traditional). The workshops are run by women from local communities.
