Kids4Peace provides a six-year educational program for youth (age 12-18), which includes local and international camps, bimonthly meetings, conflict-sensitive dialogue groups, community service, social action, and leadership training, involving hundreds of participants each year.
Each year has its own age-appropriate programmatic theme which builds upon the previous year’s program.
In October 2015, Kids4Peace announced the launch of Dialogue to Action. a new project in Jerusalem designed to engage young adults (age 18-25) in activism for social change and to create an New Jewish Theology of Peace.
``Here at Kids4Peace our staff, together with our youth, prepare and implement youth-led Walking Tours of Jerusalem for schools, private groups, and public audiences on the theme of “My Jerusalem, Our Jerusalem” Building on their learning from the prior phases, our youth select the key stories, places and experiences to share with others, by planning a Walking Tour of Jerusalem.``
The Center for a Shared Society at Givat Haviva aims to build an inclusive, socially cohesive society in Israel by engaging divided communities in collective action towards the advancement of a sustainable, thriving Israeli democracy based on mutual responsibility, civic equality and a shared vision of the future.
